Srinagar, June 24, Janata Dal United party workers led by its president for Jammu and Kashmir GM Shaheen will sit on hunger strike outside Raj Bhawan against ‘non-redressal’ of the grievances.
Shaheen said that despite frequent interactions with the LG, not a single grievance was addressed. He said the reality is that the grievances of political leaders are not being addressed.
“Not speaking of common people, even grievances of political leaders are not being given weightage. JDU party workers are in distress. Several times we met the LG but nothing changed on the ground,” he said.
GM Shaeen said that the party workers will sit on hunger strike from 27 June onwards outside the Raj Bhawan office to attract the attention of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. (KNT)
